Rachel Monteagudo.

My name is

As a natural observer, photography has always felt like my calling.

I notice the small stuff — the smirks when things get too serious, Grandma asleep at the ceremony, Dad’s tears.

But the most important part of my job isn’t the technical skill — it’s connecting with people.

A comfortable environment = a beautiful wedding gallery.

relaxing and reassuring.

Working with me is

The most important thing I give my clients is peace of mind.

I frequently switch between candid and posed shots, allowing you the freedom to be yourselves.

A wedding isn't a photoshoot. That's why I’ll never get in the way of you enjoying your day.

My CLIENTS ...

Love my true-to-life editing style. They care that their skin tones look accurate. They get married in places with lots of light and prefer to take portraits outside.

Have a shared vision. They make choices based on their own preferences. They are willing to do what feels right, whether traditional or unconventional.

Let the day unfold. They don't fret about the details, and stay grounded in the love from friends and family that surrounds them.

signing a marriage certificate in Bermuda

i almost didn't get married ...

because of a Category 4 hurricane.

There are countless things that could have stopped my British husband and I from committing our lives to each other — a giant ocean, the bloated visa process, or a worldwide pandemic.

After being COVID-restricted from each others' countries in 2020, we eloped to Bermuda. Nothing like a hurricane forecast to *almost* seal our demise. Luckily, it passed quicker than expected, and we flew home with marriage documents in hand.

My Favorite thing to take pictures of is

the ocean.

Wanna know why? Watch my video about underwater photography.

MY controversial wedding opinion is

your reception photos matter.

Sometimes party photos are overlooked. But your reception tells the second half of your wedding story (and, it's SO fun to capture).

Rest assured, I'll document every sweaty Justin Timberlake song, Bollywood remix, and slow dance with grandpa!
